Eve was founded with the vision to use artificial intelligence technology to reduce deaths and injuries in automobiles Eve is ready to launch its first product Athena.
Athena is a sophisticated yet simple to use in cabin sensing product designed to eliminate deaths resulting from children left in hot cars, through detection that is independent of line of sight and weight sensing.
The product is compatible with virtually every car on the road and Eve will be pursuing both B 2 C and OEM markets. Eve is an automotive technology think tank and continues to grow a pipeline of B 2 B B 2 C products and intellectual property.
Eve is planning its first product launch in 2021 with Athena, a patent-pending, user friendly solution to the tragic occurrence of parents or care givers who leave children unattended in a vehicle, resulting in deaths and injuries The system also works for pets Eve’s development team has successfully completed a prototype based on several different sensors, which is more advanced than other consumer products on the market A modified version of Athena will be marketed as a B 2 B solution for school bus companies to assure that no child is left on a school bus.
Eve’s development team successfully completed its working prototype using multiple high quality sensors and proprietary software Because the technology does not rely on a single sensor, Athena is able to detect a newborn baby under a blanket without line of sight A patent is pending for this technology.
Eve has retained a third party developer to create a new iteration of its prototype that is scalable for mass production.
Eve is in talks with a major international developer and manufacturer which has a specialty technology products for the development consumer-grade product.
MAthena, which has issued (US 9,998,899), aims at providing safety to children and pets in vehicles. Each year, during summer seasons especially, children and/or pets left in vehicles that are rapidly heating up tragically result, in many cases, in severe injury or death.
This patent senses the presence of all lifeforms in the vehicle including driver and other occupants while the vehicle is in motion. Once the vehicle is parked, even if the engine is left on, the system will detect when the driver has exited and a lifeform remains inside. As soon as the driver exits, the system detects that exit and begins a predetermined set of responses comprising a period of pulsed horn and lights activity alerting the driver before he/she can step away from the vehicle. To stop the alert, the driver must either remove the lifeform or press a standby switch. If the latter option is chosen, the driver has a predetermined but short time period in which to return to the vehicle before the alarm recurs. Once the first level alert commences, a second predetermined time period is counted down and if the driver has not returned and the lifeform is still in the vehicle, a message is sent to a list of individuals and, concurrently, a first-responder authority giving the vehicle’s identification information and GPS location.
Finally, during the period prior to first-response arrival, the system keeps track of interior temperature and toxic gas levels and can take steps to remediate either condition. This invention was found to be patentably distinct and was allowed/issued.
